Return To North Wales Road Runners Training Nights

Sometimes, I feel that I am the luckiest person alive...I've got my health, my fitness and best of all I live in what I would class as the best place on earth, beautiful North Wales. I was welcomed back to my first North Wales Road Runners training session of 2008 by friendly club mates and the most beautiful sunset as we trained over the Great Orme. It was warm, the wind was behind us and the club turnout was quite outstanding with no less than 20 runners all enjoying the evening. Even Neale made an appearance with his Ipod in tow and a bright pair of red laces to show off! I can't talk though, I was wearing PINK laces a generous birthday present from the brown dog...You really can't beat a training session with other runners, everyone is encouraging you to raise the pace and it takes it up a level above what you can do on your own.

The Great Orme is quite simply an amazing backdrop in the summer, it offers you a perfect training location with outstanding views, it's hard but it's also very rewarding. God I love living in North Wales.
