Fairy Freckled Fau Pax!

Another wod of time since the last post, but have been busy, busy, busy. What with visits to Bangor Uni' and running for Eryri harriers and of course numerous trips to various cafe's with the Sunday gang I really am the girl about town! I finally bit the bullet last month and did a race at Abersoch with Andy and Eddie...as was the case last year I was returning from a long period of injury but was pleased to come home 1st vet and 5th overall.   The following week saw a visit to Sedburgh for a round of the British Mountain running champ's and this was an excellent introduction to a higher level of competition. I was running alongside the best in the UK and was overjoyed with being in 12th place to the top of the mountain. Whilst I knew that I would loose it all on the decents I knew that my strength on the uphill's. Despite this I was pleased with a 25th overall out of the best in the UK and of course I was one of the oldest competitors. I am determined that I am going to work on the decents so that I am not throwing these events away...what with the Snowdon race only three weeks away and the Snowdon uphill a week or so later. In addition to this Andy, Eddie and I start the marathon training for Snowdon next week so I have lots to look forward to. I am afraid that this post is gonna be a little short but I've got so much to do!....Oh, one last thing, I had my first race win of the season at the Fairy Freckled Cow race at Llyn Alwen.........
