I am tying to resist using my blog to have a rant but I am afraid that at the risk of sacrificing a few viewers here I cannot resist having a pop at the almighty one......Paula Radcliffe........Neale has never b
een backward in coming forward in his criticism of this outstanding athlete. Me, well I only really regard her as the absolute pinnacle of distance running. World record holder, multi Boston and New York winner to say the least. However, Neale has always maintained that of late Radcliffe really has lost her integrity with regard to her wish to represent the UK at the highest level.

However, Neale has always maintained that of late Radcliffe really has lost her integrity with regard to her wish to represent the UK at the highest level.Excuses would appear to come ever so easily to her management, and the latest offering, an 'alleged' bout of tonsillitis really takes the biscuit. You see, Neale maintains that Radcliffe, really is now driven by money and it certainly would appear that this is her focus, particularly when considering the withdrawals from races and events over the past couple of years. That is not to say that what she is doing is wrong, hell, if we were in the same position, I am sure we would prefer million$ appearance money than a poxy medal. But no, she says that she's going to compete, leaving hopeful reserves to yearn for a place and then pulls out.....leaving the reserve to rush to be ready...not good. God, she only does one or two runs a year, imagine if the reserves event was part of a full year's schedule.....not fair!
