Sun, Sea & Cycling

Its quite strange to write here and look at the location map at the side of the screen and establish where people are viewing the site from. Those regulars of you who have been reading for a while, will see that we not only have visitors from the UK and Europe but now welcome guests from North and South America and even New Zealand. It's so weird how technology has progressed over the last couple of decades to allow sites such as mine to be seen so far away! I have also noticed that I am rapidly approaching my first anniversary as a 'blogger' so soon it will be happy birthday Tammy's Tear Around....

I am sure that you have established from the fact that I am not mentioning the running, that I continue to be injured with little or no sign of recovery in the not too distant future. I remain up-beat however, as I have recently taken to the bike and have enjoyed a couple of local rides to get used to using machinery. Those of you who know me also know that technology and I really don't mix! Despite this, I have decided to persevere and hopefully master this art as well. The one thing I have mastered is the clip-in pedals......not before falling off twice in front of some amused on-lookers! Next weekend will see me out on my first 'Sunday' run with a couple of the ladies from the Carneddau Tri club so i hope to enjoy the benefit of their expertise, although Helen has said that she's been riding for a few years now but still can't work out why the bike has got two chain-rings at the front! God this should be fun......Bye for now
