Well, got up this morning, very fresh after yesterday's cross country, so decided that I would do the Flintshire 10k at Mold....We packed Ritchie Mk II into the van and turned up to find Lee & Suzzanne already there with the kids...Much to my delight (not) Emma (Parry) was there aswell. It was great to see at least 12 NWRR's there also a great turn out by the club. I set off and decided that I was do my best to keep Emma in my sights for the duration of the race. Emma is a notoriously quick starter and this is where she gets the jump on me for about 100mts. A good decision really as I was able to pace myself and let her determine the speed. After the first lap I managed to cut distance down to about 50mts by the time we crossed the finish line. I felt very good and was ecstatic to get another P.B.
